Kimberly Shirley-Williams

Kimberly Shirley-Williams serves as the Regional Coordinator for FRST Midwest since August 2023, where coordination of peer support needs is managed across Kansas and western Missouri. With significant experience at the Kansas City Missouri Police Department since February 1996, Kimberly has held positions such as Master Detective, focusing on various divisions including Sex Crimes, Robbery, and Child Exploitation. Additional roles include Police Officer, Emergency Dispatcher, and participation in specialized teams such as Hostage Negotiator and Crisis Intervention. Kimberly also dedicates time as a Volunteer at Children's Mercy Kansas City and as a Peer Support Team Coordinator for the Fraternal Order of Police Kansas City, overseeing team operations and confidentiality. Educational background includes studies at Emporia State University, Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods, and Allen County Community College.
