Jay Hinrichs

Jay S. Hinrichs has a diverse work experience in the field of sports management and recreation. Jay S. currently serves as the President and General Manager of the Kansas City Monarchs Baseball club, where they oversee daily operations and strategic initiatives. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director and Development Director at the Johnson County Park and Recreation District, where they focused on fundraising and advertising strategic planning. Jay S. also served as the Executive Director of The Parks and Recreation Foundation of Johnson County during the same period. Jay has previous experience as the Director of Physical Education and Recreation at Aims Community College, where they successfully implemented various programs and managed the operation of the Campus Physical Education and Recreation Center. Before that, they worked as a Development Consultant at the University of Denver and held various roles in athletics administration, including Director of Athletics at Northern Colorado Athletics, Associate Director of Athletics at the University of Kansas Athletics, and Vice President of Business Development, Assistant General Manager, and Director of Stadium Operations at the Kansas City Royals. Jay S. Hinrichs completed their undergraduate studies at The University of Kansas from 1976 to 1980. Jay S. earned a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree with a focus on Psychology and Personnel Administration. Afterwards, Jay pursued further education at The University of Kansas from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.
