Ellie McMullen

Ellie McMullen is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager for the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium since February 2022. Prior to this role, Ellie held the position of Senior Media Buyer at Barkley from August 2021 to February 2022, and worked as a Digital Media Strategist at EducationDynamics from May 2018 to August 2021, following the acquisition of ThruLine Marketing's agency services division in November 2019. Early career experiences include a Diversity Marketing Strategy Internship with the Minnesota Twins in 2017, a Marketing Internship at South Dakota Public Broadcasting in 2016, and a Marketing & Media Relations Internship at the University of South Dakota during the same year. Ellie McMullen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communication with a Minor in Communication Studies from the University of South Dakota, graduating in 2016.
