Richard Wells is an experienced professional with a diverse background in donor relations, operations management, and administrative support. Currently serving as Donor Relations Manager at Kansas City Zoo since July 2017, Richard has also held roles such as Development and Donor Database Assistant Manager and Development and Donor Database Specialist. Prior experience includes positions at UMKC Charter School Center as Office Support Assistant, Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas as Administrative Assistant, and United Way of Greater Kansas City as Events and Operations Manager, where Richard managed event planning, digital communications, and budget maintenance. Earlier career experience includes administrative support roles at ALCOPS and as a Lead Cutter at Kansas City Costume Company, demonstrating strong research, client support, and creative design skills. Richard holds a High School Diploma from Chetopa High School.
