Michael Morrissey

Michael Morrissey has worked for several companies in the telecommunications industry, starting with Sprint in 2000 as a network engineer and later a principal planner. Michael then worked for CenturyLink (formerly Qwest) in various management roles including network design, national OSP construction, and data engineering from 2009 until 2017. From 2017 to 2021 they worked for Kansas Fiber Network, LLC as VP of engineering and operations, as well as interim president and general manager.

Michael Morrissey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1989 to 1993. Then, from 1996 to 1998, they attended Bellevue University where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Business & Management of Information Systems. In addition, they hold certifications as a former CCNA, CCNP, and Certified Wireless LAN Specialist, but no further details are provided.
