Kirk Simone has extensive experience in law enforcement and asset forfeiture management, currently serving as the Asset Forfeiture Coordinator for the Kansas Highway Patrol since May 2011. In this role, Kirk administers the agency's asset forfeiture program, collaborating with law enforcement and judicial officials to maintain professional standards. Prior to this position, Kirk worked as a Criminal Interdiction/Asset Forfeiture Coordinator with the Kansas Highway Patrol from 1993 to March 2011, overseeing troopers associated with the DEA and FBI Task Force. In addition, Kirk has been a Football Official for the KSHSAA since 1983 and held earlier roles as a Police Officer and Volunteer Fireman in El Dorado Springs, Missouri from 1975 to June 1982. Kirk's education includes attendance at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1976 to 1979 and earlier studies in El Dorado Springs and Barton Community College.
