Rebecca Sharpton

Rebecca Sharpton is an experienced professional currently serving as a Claims Specialist at the Social Security Administration since August 2020. A member of the Advisory Board for Kansas Legal Services, Inc. since March 2015, Rebecca previously worked as a Veteran Service Representative at the Kansas Commission On Veterans Affairs Office from April 2012 to August 2020, where responsibilities included advocating for veterans and coordinating services for women veterans. Prior experience includes a role as a Billing and Insurance Clerk at COMCARE from July 2005 to August 2020, specializing in medical coding and billing, and serving in the US Army as a Public Affairs Specialist from October 2002 to June 2005. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Montana State University Billings and has also completed a program at the Defense Information School.
