Brooke Nicholson has worked in various roles and organizations throughout their career. Brooke started their professional journey as the Director/Coach at Wildcat Tumblers, a recreational tumbling facility that they established as a young entrepreneur in high school. During their time there, they were responsible for all aspects of the business, including accounting, marketing, and day-to-day operations. Brooke also hired and scheduled coaches, maintained the facilities, coached and choreographed routines, and implemented new business strategies. After working at Wildcat Tumblers for eight years, Brooke joined GTM Sportswear (now known as Champion Apparel) as an Inside Sales Representative. Brooke then transitioned to Xpanxion, where they worked as a Delivery Assistant. Currently, Brooke is employed at the Kansas State University Foundation as the Talent Acquisition Manager, a role they held from 2016 to 2021 before being promoted to Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition.

Brooke Nicholson earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Kansas State University from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university from 2008 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, they completed various courses and programs. These include certifications in Adult, Child and Infant Pediatric CPR/AED from ProTrainings in October 2022, and courses such as "Getting into the Mind of the Hiring Manager," "Hiring an Employee for Managers," "Talent Sourcing," and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in October 2022.

Brooke also completed the course "Leading With Effective Communication (Inclusive Leadership Training)" from edX in December 2020, and other courses like "Unconscious Bias," "Confronting Racism, with Robin DiAngelo," and "Becoming a Successful Leader (Inclusive Leadership Training)" from LinkedIn in 2020.

Additionally, they obtained the credential "Cycle 1: 1st Time Credentialing (Cheer)" from the U.S. All Star Federation in December 2016 and obtained the "American Association of Cheerleading Coaches & Administrators" certification from The NFHS Network in January 2014.
