Winnie Kiunga

Winnie Kiunga is an experienced professional in international development and education, currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University since July 2024. Previously, Winnie held the position of Deputy Country Manager at Vi-skogen/Vi Agroforestry from September 2022 to June 2024, providing leadership support across programming, operations, and security matters. As Country Director at Neema Project from January 2019 to August 2022, Winnie implemented new financial and HR policies, achieving significant budget savings and spearheading COVID-19 relief efforts. Additional roles include Lead Consultant at International Development Consultants, Fundraising Coordinator at Tandaza Trust, and International Development Specialist at Safe Harbor International, among others, showcasing a strong commitment to community development and capacity building through various educational and health-related initiatives.
