Teenat Shah has a diverse range of work experience. In 2008, they worked as a Billing Manager at Frisco Urgent Care and Clinic. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an AR Manager/Team Lead at MedSynergies. In 2012, they joined Allscripts as a Sr. Configuration Engineer, focusing on Physician CPOE and Documentation strategies. Their primary role at Allscripts involved developing clinical content, care pathways, and standard treatment protocols. Currently, since 2020, they are working as a Clinical Content Specialist at KanTime Inc.

Teenat Shah completed their Matriculation and Associates degree in Pre Medical at Federal Public School from 1988 to 1991. Afterward, they went on to pursue their higher education in Medicine at Fatima Jinnah Medical College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from 1992 to 1997.
