Gary J. serves as the Director of Security at Kao Data since May 2025, overseeing the integration of cyber and physical security, risk management, compliance, and investigations. Prior to this role, Gary held several key positions at Bayer from 2018 to May 2025, including Global Head of Investigations & Intelligence, where a world-class intelligence function was established, and Head of Security & Resilience for the UK&I, significantly enhancing incident management and business continuity. Gary's earlier roles include A/Vice President of Global Security Operations & Cyber Response at Barclays and a progressive law enforcement career with the Metropolitan Police, culminating in the rank of Detective Sergeant. Gary began a military career as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the British Army. Educational qualifications include professional development in Military Engineering and various management training programs.
