Gavin Fernandez

Gavin Fernandez currently serves as the Commercial & Delivery Director and Head of Cost & Commercial Management at Kao Data, a leader in the development and operation of data centres tailored for AI and advanced computing in the UK and Europe, since July 2023. Prior to this role, Gavin was a Partner focusing on Data Centres & Mission Critical at Core Five LLP for a brief period in early 2023. Gavin's extensive experience includes serving as the Corporate Real Estate Head of Cost Management for EMEA at UBS from October 2018 to April 2023 and as Director of Data Centres Cost Management at JLL for a short duration in 2018. Additional positions held by Gavin include Commercial Principal at Business Critical Solutions, Team Leader/Principal at Arcadis for 15 years, and CRE Project Controls at Goldman Sachs. Gavin's career began as a Quantity Surveyor at Haden Young from 1997 to 2001.
