Hiroshi Maruyama

Hiroshi Maruyama is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as an Executive Fellow at Kao Corporation and a Project Professor at The University of Tokyo, Hiroshi also holds the positions of Director, PFN Fellow, and Chief Strategy Officer at Preferred Networks, Inc., and previously was Vice Director-General and Professor at The Institute of Statistical Mathematics. With prior experience as Deputy Group Executive at Canon Inc. and Director at IBM's Tokyo Research Laboratory, along with an MS in Computer Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Hiroshi combines a strong academic background with leadership roles in technology development.
