Takashi Mizutani

Takashi Mizutani currently serves as the Group Leader of the Legal Department at Kao Corporation, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Takashi held various managerial positions at Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. and Astellas Pharma, focusing on legal support in the agrochemical and healthcare sectors, respectively. Takashi's extensive experience at Kao Corporation, which began in 2005, includes leadership roles in legal aspects of the chemical business and corporate strategy, where responsibilities encompassed mergers & acquisitions, trade agreements, and organizing corporate governance meetings. Takashi holds a Master of Laws in International Business and Trade Law from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws in Public Law from The University of Tokyo.
