Reino completed his BCom (Law) degree in 1995 and LLB degree in 1997 at the University of Pretoria and joined the South African Reserve Bank as an in-house legal consultant in 1998. He completed his LLM degree at Unisa in 2001. Reino moved to Nedbank Limited as an in-house legal adviser in 2003 and subsequently joined Citibank, N.A., South Africa branch in 2004 as in-house legal counsel. The last position he held at Citi was as South Africa country counsel and member of the management committee. Reino joined Steinhoff’s treasury as treasury and legal services manager in November 2015, and in March 2018 he joined KAP Corporate Services as treasury and legal executive.

The Diversified Industrial segment includes integrated timber, including forestry and timber manufacturing operations with primary and secondary processing; chemical, which includes manufacture of polyethylene terephthalate, resin and formaldehyde; automotive components, including the manufacture of components used in new vehicle assembly and after-market vehicle accessories, and integrated bedding, which includes manufacture of foam, fabrics, springs, bases and mattresses. Its chemical operations include the Safripol, Hosaf and Woodchem businesses.
