Stephen Hanssen

Stephen Hanssen is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently, Stephen serves as the Executive Head at Jacana Group since September 2023, while simultaneously holding the position of Managing Director at Kapara Insurance Brokers and STP Insurance Brokers, roles Stephen has occupied since October 2021 and July 2016 respectively. Stephen's career began at Mutual and Federal Insurance Co. as a Production Manager and expanded through roles that included Business Development Manager at Insurance Brokers Resource Centre and Managing Director at Catalyst Group and Riverstone Insurance Brokers. Stephen's educational background includes a degree in Marketing from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and matriculation from Wynberg Boys High School.
