Sanan Safaraliyev

Sanan Safaraliyev is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Cyber Defense at Kapital Bank. With extensive experience in leading Security Operations Center (SOC) teams, Sanan has advanced through various SOC roles, including Tier 3, Tier 2, and Tier 1 Analyst, showcasing expertise in incident response, threat hunting, and security tool management. As a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Cyber IN, Sanan has established a prominent cybersecurity academy and fostered strategic partnerships within the industry. Additionally, Sanan has contributed to cybersecurity education as an instructor at multiple institutions, delivering hands-on training in SOC operations and threat detection methodologies. Sanan holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Security from Baku Higher Oil School and is pursuing a Master's degree in Cyber Security from Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
