Anderson Pereira

Anderson Pereira is a cofounder and CEO of Kapitale, a Brazil-based SME lending platform that leverages credit card receivables as collateral, having started in June 2023. Previously, Anderson completed the MIT Sloan Fellows MBA program, culminating in a thesis on SMB lending in Brazil, and was awarded a fellowship from the Legatum Center. In a prior role as CEO of Universia Brasil from April 2017 to May 2022, Anderson impacted over 1 million students and increased revenue by 145%. Earlier experience includes heading the innovation department at Banco Santander, where Anderson designed the Santander Pass payment bracelet and enhanced the mobile app for personal finance management. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Management of Technology from MIT Sloan School of Management and various certificates in financial management and business administration from reputable institutions.
