Derek Burkett

Derek Burkett has a wealth of experience in product management and advanced designations. Derek started their career at CBIZ Valuation Group as a Consultant in 2003 before moving on to Kaplan Schweser in 2004 as a Product Director. At Kaplan Schweser, they were responsible for the CAIA, FRM, and Stalla products for a decade. In 2014, they joined ValueScope, Inc. as a Senior Associate before returning to Kaplan Schweser in 2015 as the Director of Advanced Designations. Derek was later promoted to Vice President of Product Management.

Derek Burkett holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Finance from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. Derek also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from Texas A&M University. In addition, Derek has certifications including CAIA Charterholder from the CAIA Association and various other certifications in the field of finance.
