Annie Yamakawa

Annie Yamakawa, FPQP®, currently serves as the Tradeshow and Events Manager at Kaplan since November 2021, and has also contributed to the College for Financial Planning in a sales development capacity. From February 2020 to September 2021, Annie worked as a Loan Officer and Credit Coach at Advia Credit Union, where efforts focused on enhancing financial literacy and credit health in the Greater Kalamazoo area. As a small business owner from March 2015 to May 2020, Annie successfully operated Annie Allure, providing cosmetology services and managing a diverse clientele. Previous experience includes roles as a Statistics Supplemental Instruction Leader at Jackson College, Assistant Operations Manager at Detroit Glam, and Digital Marketing Manager at Ichiban Hospitality, Inc. Annie holds education credentials from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and Douglas J Aveda Institute.
