Kay Miller

Kay Miller has extensive experience in human resources. Kay is currently working at Kappler, Inc. as the Human Resources Director since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at Kappler, Inc. from January 2020 to December 2023. Before joining Kappler, Inc., Kay worked as a Human Resources Manager at the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo from June 2018 to January 2020. Kay also has experience as a Payroll & HR Systems Specialist at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® from August 2017 to June 2018, and as a Human Resources Generalist at Morrison Industrial Equipment from May 2015 to July 2017. Additionally, Kay has internship experience as a Human Resources/Marketing Intern at Williams Distributing in 2015 and as a Financial Representative Intern at Northwestern Mutual in 2014. Kay also served as an Intern at the City of Plymouth, Michigan in 2013. In terms of their early career, Kay had various roles at Aquinas College - Grand Rapids, including an internship/front desk assistant from August 2011 to May 2015, an orientation leader in August 2013, and a resident assistant from 2012 to 2013.

Kay Miller completed an Executive MBA from The University of Alabama in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Central Michigan University in 2019. Kay'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Writing from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids, which they completed between 2011 and 2015. In addition, Kay obtained a SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in January 2017.
