Bruckner Bernhard

Bruckner Bernhard has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Bruckner started their career as an intern at Siemens AG in September 2003 and later became a Consultant/OEM Channel Manager from June 2004 to February 2007. In February 2007, they joined Siemens Enterprise Communications as a Product Manager until January 2010. From May 2010 to January 2012, Bruckner worked as a Consultant at Finpro. In February 2012, they transitioned to the role of Business Development Manager at Kapsch Group and held this position until December 2015. From January 2016 to July 2019, they served as the Corporate Information Security Manager and Cyber Security Product Line Management at Kapsch Group. Then, from July 2019 to January 2022, they held the position of Corporate Information Security Manager. In February 2022, Bruckner was promoted to the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Kapsch Group. In September 2020, they founded their own company called Secvantage e.U. and works as an Information/IT-Security Consultant.

Bruckner Bernhard earned a Mag. degree in Marketing, Controlling, and Supply Chain Management from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, Bruckner studied Telecommunication/Network Technology at Fachhochschule St Pölten and obtained a DI(FH) degree. Bruckner also holds additional certifications in Information Security Management, Corporate Risk Application Method, Management Consulting, and Systems Security.
