Bill Havlin

Bill Havlin has extensive experience in information risk and compliance roles. Bill is currently employed at KAR Global as the Senior Director of Compliance. Previously, they worked at Carvana as the Director of Information Risk and Compliance. Bill also held multiple positions at KAR Global, including Director of Information Risk and Compliance and Manager of Risk and Compliance. Prior to that, they worked at Interactive Intelligence as the Manager of Information Security. Bill started their career at First Financial Bank as the Manager of IT Compliance and Risk Management. Before that, they served as the VP of Information Security at Irwin Mortgage. Bill began their career at Acordia as a Systems Consultant.

Bill Havlin attended Wabash College from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a BA degree in Physics and Math. Prior to that, they attended Eastern Hancock from 1976 to 1980, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or field of study from that institution. In terms of certifications, Bill Havlin obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2017, the Certified Information Privacy Professional - CIPP/US from IAPP in 2015, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 in 2014.
