KAR & Larrabee Mechanical Contractors is a Florida-based mechanical contractor with full-service Engineering, Construction, Building Management Solutions and Service divisions. 

Founded in 1967 by Mr. Norman Larrabee, Larrabee Air Conditioning has been an integral component of the HVAC industry in South Florida for over fifty years. In the company’s first three decades, Larrabee Air Conditioning established a strong presence in the healthcare industry, while expanding into the industrial and commercial sectors.

In January of 2010, Mr. Armando Cosio and Mr. Angel Rivera assumed ownership of Larrabee Air Conditioning and founded KAR & Larrabee Mechanical Contractors. Mr. Cosio, together with his management team, has continued the company’s long-standing commitment to excellence.  Expanding the industries and markets served throughout Florida, KAR & Larrabee continues the company’s fifty-year legacy and commitment to clients and corporations throughout the state.
