Ajay Sohanvi

Ajay Sohanvi has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Ajay is currently the Director at WastePe India, where they focus on simplifying waste collection and channelization through a tech platform. From 2020 to 2022, Ajay was the Founder of Kar Parivartan, an organization authorized by CPCB to handle e-waste management. Prior to that, they worked at BT as a Sr. Procurement Manager, overseeing waste compliance and sustainable sourcing. Ajay also served as the GM of Corporate Purchase at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, where they managed procurement across multiple properties. Ajay has worked in various roles at Reliance Communications, British Telecom, and Bharti Airtel Limited, gaining experience in procurement, supply chain, and network operations. Their earlier work experience includes roles at Ajanta Offset and Apple PTC.

Ajay Sohanvi obtained a Bachelor's degree from Delhi University in an unspecified field of study in 1997. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1996, they studied Printing Engineering with a focus on Printing Technology at the Board Of Technical Education in Delhi. In 2008 and 2009, Ajay pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. Most recently, from 2019 to 2021, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Telecommunications Management at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) in Meerut.
