Eivind Galtvik

Eivind Galtvik is an accomplished education and management professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager at Karabin AS since September 2021, Galtvik previously held the position of Kommunalsjef at Eigersund kommune from March 2013 to September 2021, overseeing the fields of upbringing and culture, including responsibilities for kindergartens, primary schools, cultural schools, adult education, child welfare, and cultural departments. Galtvik also contributed to the establishment of the national guidance corps at Utdanningsdirektoratet, working as a Veileder from January 2011 to June 2018, where various portfolios included advising schools and municipalities. Galtvik's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Knowledge Management from CBS, obtained between 2008 and 2010. Past roles also encompass leadership as a Rektor at Motland skule from January 2005 to February 2013, where a new school facility was inaugurated in 2007, and at Vigre skule and barnehage starting in April 2002.
