James Murray

James Murray is the current head of electronics at Karakuri. Prior to joining Karakuri, James was a senior hardware engineer at McLaren Applied from November 2016 to December 2019. Before that, they worked as an electronics hardware engineer at Drumgrange Ltd from August 2012 to November 2016. James started their career as an electronics hardware engineer at Thales in September 2008 and worked there until August 2012. From June 2007 to January 2008, they did an industrial placement in the applications department at Wolfson Microelectronics.

James Murray completed a MEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow. James achieved a 1st in their field and went on to have a successful career in engineering.

Some of their coworkers include Ivan Iacono - Head of Software, Chris Barratt - Head of Mechanical Engineering, and Onno van der Neut - Technical Product Lead. Their manager is Peter Schroder, CTO.
