Assaf Harel

Assaf Harel is a prominent figure in the technology and security sectors, currently serving as Chief Scientist and Co-Founder, as well as CTO and Co-Founder of Karamba Security since July 2015. Karamba Security specializes in safeguarding automotive and IoT controllers against cyber threats through innovative solutions. Prior to this role, Assaf co-founded PeerSay, a decision-support platform aimed at optimizing business product selection using collective insights, from July 2014 to July 2015. Additionally, Assaf held a position as Group Manager at Check Point Software Technologies from 2008 to July 2014 and served as Applications Team Leader at Metalink Inc. from 2004 to 2008. Educational achievements include a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution.
