Navid Goraya

Navid Goraya serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Corporate Investments & Credit at Karandaaz Capital since 2017, overseeing a US$ 230 million fund with investments in private equity, strategic financial institutions, private credit, and sustainable energy. Previous experience includes roles as Managing Director of Investment Banking at White Oak Advisors Inc. in New York, Partner at EMP Global, and Managing Director at HSBC, where Goraya specialized in structured finance and investment banking. Additional experience encompasses managing capital markets at DMI Group and equity research at MRJ Securities. Navid Goraya holds an MBA and a BBA (Hons) from the Institute of Business Administration, as well as a certificate from the High Performance Leadership Program at INSEAD.
