Chris Cook

Chris Cook has held multiple roles at Karat since September 2019, currently serving as the Director of Content Governance after previously being a Manager of Content Governance and a Senior Interview Engineer and Content Developer, conducting over 1250 technical interviews for engineering positions. Prior to Karat, Chris was a self-employed Professional English Teacher and Interview Coach, accumulating over 1500 hours of online teaching across more than 10 countries. Earlier experience includes serving as Lead Software Developer at Ocean Sonics Ltd., managing major software projects, and as an Assistant Systems Administrator at Dalhousie University, providing IT support and developing an inventory database. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with Co-op and Economics from Dalhousie University and a 120 Hour Professional Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate from MyTEFL.net.
