Elayne Britain

Elayne Britain is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and site reliability. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Karat since April 2019, Elayne has contributed significantly to the creation of a browser-based coding environment for technical interviews and developed a service for code auto-completion. Previously, Elayne held roles such as Senior Site Reliability Engineer and UI/Full Stack Engineer at RealSelf, focusing on container infrastructure and full-stack development, respectively. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Software Engineer at McGraw-Hill Education, where Elayne architected large-scale web applications, and as a Full Stack Web Developer at Zipper Computer, engaging in enterprise-level web app development. Elayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Washington University, completed in 2010.
