Dr. Ashwani Dhar

Dr. Ashwani Dhar has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the healthcare and technology industries. Dr. Ashwani currently serves as the Chairman & CEO of ThinkRoman Ventures, a position they have held since 2021.

Prior to that, Dr. Dhar worked at KardioGenics, Inc. as the Senior Vice President starting in 2020. In this role, they oversaw the development of a wearable device-based Data as a Service platform that provided real-time clinical insights to physicians and healthcare providers.

From 2007 to 2019, Dr. Dhar held multiple roles at Cerner Corporation, including Director, Physician Executive, Chief Medical Information Officer of ITWorks (West), and Senior Physician Executive.

Before their time at Cerner Corporation, Dr. Dhar worked as the Assistant Vice President of NextGen Healthcare from 2006 to 2007, and as the Director of Medical Informatics at TeleResults Corp from 2004 to 2006.

Throughout their career, Dr. Ashwani Dhar has demonstrated their expertise in healthcare informatics, executive leadership, and driving innovation in the healthcare industry.

Dr. Ashwani Dhar completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine at the University of Kashmir. Dr. Ashwani also earned a degree in Medical Informatics (DMI) from The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK. Additionally, they completed a program in Leadership Strategies for Evolving Health Care Executives at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
