Dan Charlton is the CTO at KareInn. Dan has over 14 years of experience in the software engineering industry.

Dan Charlton started their career as a research assistant at Teesside University in 2006. Dan then transitioned into the industry, working as a Senior Systems Developer at Stapleton International Ltd from 2011 to 2014. In this role, they developed applications to support the project services division in a variety of situations including estimating, project assurance and planning, all within the petrochemical industry.

In 2014, Charlton moved to Industrial Thinking Ltd as an MES Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the design and development of web based solutions to suit bespoke client requirements. One of their latest projects includes the Brandocs document management platform, built entirely from the ground up.

In January 2015, Charlton joined Technically Compatible as a Senior Software Engineer. Dan worked with this company for four years until January 2019 when they joined KareInn as their CTO.

Dan Charlton studied for a Bachelor of Science at Teesside University in the field of Computer Games and Programming Skills. Dan then went on to study for A Levels at Hartlepool Sixth Form College.

Dan Charlton reports to Kate Colborne-Baber, Managing Director. They are on a team with Rachelle Mills - Director, Innovation & Partnerships, Emma Sheppard - Head of Customer Operations, and Geraldine Chapman - Head of Customer Experience.
