Teresa Mathews

Teresa Mathews is a seasoned professional in scientific publishing and environmental management, currently serving as the Scientific Publishing Manager at Karger Publishers since August 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the strategic editorial development of neurology journals and book series. Prior to this role, Teresa acted as General Co-coordinator for International Volunteers for WWF Switzerland, managing a large membership base and organizing community events. Experience includes a significant contribution to WWF Switzerland as a Volunteer in planning the Global Strategic Expansion Plan and conducting research on sustainable practices. Additionally, Teresa has served as a Scientific Officer at F.R.S. - FNRS, successfully managing national peer-review programs, and has a robust research background in entomology, holding a Ph.D. from Universidade Federal de Viçosa, where independent research on termite ecology was conducted. Educational qualifications also include a Master's in Entomology and a degree in Forest Engineering.
