Darius Engineer

Darius Engineer is an accomplished professional in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in eDrive systems, automotive design, and powertrain solutions. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer for eDrive Systems at Karma Automotive since June 2021, Darius has led critical calculations and developed technical requirements for advanced hybrid and electric vehicles. Prior roles at Textron Specialized Vehicles included Mechanical Engineer III, where Darius enhanced prototyping capabilities and collaborated on innovative powertrain solutions, and earlier positions that focused on drivetrain design and chassis engineering. Darius's career began at General Motors, with roles ranging from Fastener Test Engineer to Studio Design Engineer, and includes various engineering internships at notable organizations like GE Aviation and NASA. Darius holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and is pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, expected to complete in December 2024.
