Patricia Ellis

Patricia Ellis has extensive experience in media relations and communications. Patricia served as the Director of Media Relations at the Karmanos Cancer Institute, where they focused on PR, marketing, and community relations, with a strong emphasis on media partnerships and promotion. In addition to their role at the institute, Patricia also volunteered as the Media Chair for the Susan G. Komen Detroit Race for the Cure and worked with community groups like Grosse Pointe Theatre. Prior to their time at the Karmanos Cancer Institute, they worked as the Director of Media Relations at United Way for Southeastern Michigan for 16 years. Before that, they were the Director of Media and Community Relations at The Salvation Army - Southeast Michigan Division.

Patricia Ellis holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Eastern Michigan University.
