André Görgens

André Görgens is a distinguished researcher with extensive experience in the field of biology and stem cell research. Since October 2016, André has been affiliated with the Karolinska Institutet as a Researcher and Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Concurrently, from March 2017 to May 2025, André served as a Senior Scientist and Consultant at Evox Therapeutics Ltd. Prior to these roles, André was a Postdoctoral Researcher and Scientist at the University Hospital Essen from October 2008 to October 2016, focusing on the regulation of self-renewal and differentiation processes in human somatic stem cells. André holds a Diploma in Biology from the University Hospital Düsseldorf, completed in 2008, and a degree in Biology from the University of Düsseldorf, obtained in 2007.
