Miguel Angel Cortes Gonzalez is a Senior Research Infrastructure Specialist and Radiochemist at Karolinska Institutet since May 2020. Prior to this role, Miguel worked as a Research Assistant at Stockholm University from September 2015 to May 2020, focusing on the development of fluorination methods for the synthesis of PET tracers. Miguel has also served as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Kálmán J and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various organic chemistry courses. In June 2012, Miguel completed an internship at ORGANISTRY SERVICIOS DE INVESTIGACION Y DESARROLLO SL, contributing to the synthesis and analysis of (H)API impurities. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Stockholm University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
