Chrysoula Roufidou

Chrysoula Roufidou is currently a Laboratory Engineer at Karolinska University Hospital since March 2022, specializing in cytology within clinical pathology and cancer diagnostics. Previously, Chrysoula served as a PhD Candidate at Stockholm University from October 2012 to September 2017, focusing on reproductive physiology and functional zoomorphology, with extensive experience in project management, scientific writing, teaching, and collaboration across multiple research institutions in Sweden, Norway, the UK, and Greece. A series of visiting PhD student positions in 2014 and 2015 involved advanced techniques such as radioimmunoassays and quantitative real-time PCR for research purposes. Chrysoula holds a Ph.D. in Functional Zoomorphology and Reproductive Physiology from Stockholm University, along with advanced degrees in biology from both Stockholm and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
