Olof Akre

Olof Akre is a prominent figure in the field of medicine, currently serving as the Director of Research and Development, Senior Consultant Urologist, Verksamhetschef, Head of Department, and Acting Head of the Department of Pelvic Cancer at Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset since August 2017. Additionally, Olof Akre has held positions as a Professor and Associate Professor of Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet since February 2005. Olof Akre earned a Doctorate in Medicine from Karolinska Institutet between 1997 and 1999 and completed a Medical Degree at Uppsala University from 1991 to 1999.
