Erik Strand

Erik Strand is a Senior Analyst at Karp Strategies, where responsibilities encompass developing strategic plans for city governments in New York and Massachusetts to enhance affordable housing and economic development through community engagement and mixed-methods research. Additionally, Erik supports the New York City Mayor’s Office of Efficiency in designing customer experience plans for various city agencies. Previous roles include Graduate Analyst, Research Assistant at the American Voices Project, Financial Manager at Stanford University’s Grove House, and roles at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute, NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development, and as a Resident Assistant. Erik holds a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies/Affairs from Stanford University.
