Muhsin Mengütürk

Prof. Dr. Muhsin Mengütürk completed his academic education in the USA by obtaining his master's and doctorate degrees from the Faculty of Engineering (Durham, North Carolina) at Duke University. After graduation, he began his career at Westinghouse Research Center (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) in 1974 as the Head of the Turbine Erosion Division of the US Government's Renewable Energy Project. Mengütürk returned to Turkey in 1976 and was appointed as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Boğaziçi University Engineering Faculty, respectively. Appointed as the Founding Deputy General Manager of Türk Eximbank between 1988 and 1992, Prof. Dr. Menguturk; He was the Founding General Manager of Bayındır Hayat Sigorta between 1992 and 1995 and the Chairman of the Capital Markets Board between 1997 and 2000. After completing his term at the CMB, he worked as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Güneş Hayat Sigorta, Vakıf Emeklilik, Ankara Insurance and Ankara Pension companies and as a Board Member at Ata Holding between 2001 and 2006. Dr. Mengütürk served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Doğuş Holding between 2006 - 2018. Mengütürk is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Relations Forum (GRF).
