Dan Cummins, CISSP, PMP

Dan Cummins is a highly experienced and qualified professional with extensive knowledge in project management and information technology domains. Dan has worked with various organizations like Karthik Consulting, Mission Services LLC, Booz Allen Hamilton, United States Government, DMS PMO, and United States Air Force. Dan has held several key positions including Air Force Cyberspace Career Field Manager, Cyber Career Field Manager, Air Combat Command Communication-Computer Functional Manager, Superintendent of Information Assurance, Project Manager, Squadron Superintendent, and Superintendent of AF Registration among others. Dan's areas of expertise include serving as an Advisor to the Secretary of the Air Force Office of Information Dominance, Chief Information Officer for over 27,000 Cyberspace Support and Operation personnel, and representing Air Force's IT career field interests to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other internal and external staff agencies responsible for manpower and training. Dan is also a certified CISSP and PMP.

Dan Cummins, CISSP, PMP holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, completed between 1986 and 1990. Between 1983 and 1986, Dan Cummins also attended the Community College of the Air Force where they obtained a degree in Fuels Distribution to specialize in logistics. Subsequently, they also completed a Computer Science Associates degree in Computer Programming from the Community College of the Air Force in 1994 to 1996. Later, they pursued an MIS degree in Management Information Systems from Bowie State University between 1999 and 2001. Dan Cummins, CISSP, PMP further obtained various ITIL certifications, ITIL Foundation in 2015, ITIL Service Design in 2016, ITIL Service Operations also in 2016, along with CISSP in 2012 and PMP in 2014.
