Alen Niu

Alen Niu has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Alen is currently the Co-Founder of Karu, a tutoring company that utilizes AI technologies to provide personalized and affordable services. Prior to Karu, Alen worked as a Software Engineer & Product Manager at Overwolf, where they developed apps and software for millions of users, with a focus on mobile gaming. Alen also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Lightfox Games, where they contributed to the development of the game Knights Edge.

Before entering the technology industry, Alen was the Founder and CEO of Flyte Technologies Inc., a food delivery company specializing in office and school catering. Additionally, they co-founded Gen App, a platform aimed at creating genuine connections, and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Rapid App, a socialization platform. Alen also founded Cloudmates, a student community platform, and held the role of Division Manager at Vanguard Team, a competitive eSports organization.

In 2017, Alen established The Super Brawl, an organization that hosted tournaments and leagues for the game Brawl Stars. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a range of experiences across different sectors, Alen Niu has demonstrated their ability to innovate and lead in various contexts.

Alen Niu is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business at the University of California, Berkeley, which is expected to be completed in 2025. Prior to this, from 2008 to 2021, Alen attended Upper Canada College. Additionally, Alen has studied Business Administration and Management, General through Wharton Online.
