Karuna Skin
Karuna Skin has been pioneering skincare breakthroughs since 2009, when founder Linda Wang introduced the sheet mask to the US market. At the time, the mission was a simple one; to provide simple and easy-to-use, effective skincare products. Linda’s interest in skincare was shaped by her childhood struggle with various skin issues such as allergies, rashes, and eczema. In 2007 after discovering the revolutionary sheet masks while on a trip to Taiwan, Linda decided to create her own. Two years later, Karuna Skin was born in Southern California. In 2022, Karuna Skin launched the Balancing Collection, a 12-sku, simple to use, full of beneficial ingredients line of daily skincare products to address everyone’s skin challenges, all-the-while striving toward balanced skin. Karuna’s mission remains true and more significant today. Our approach in achieving this mission is bringing you skincare by blending the four principles of Ayurveda practices; Traditional Chinese Medicine, Adaptogens, and Clinical Science together for effective formulations. We are constantly working to bring you innovative skincare without compromising any of the benefits. We continue to do this by leaving out ingredients that don’t provide a direct benefit to the skin. After all, compassion inspires everything we do, from how we source ingredients through ethical and sustainable practices, to making skincare an essential part of your self-care. Available at Whole Foods stores nationwide, karunaskin.com, Amazon and other retailers.
