Alexander Manzyuk has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Alexander has worked for various companies, including Kaseya, allstar.tech, Housecall Pro, Autodesk, Appsberry, Railsware, Svitla Systems, Sphere Software, Intensol Limited, and OpenSource.com.ua.

At Kaseya, Alexander holds the position of Director of Software Engineering and previously worked as a Principal Software Engineer. Alexander has also worked as a Principal Software Engineer at allstar.tech.

At Housecall Pro, Alexander served as a Staff Software Engineer and was responsible for working with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and AWS technologies. Alexander played a pivotal role in extracting the first module from the monolith and establishing the process and decision-making framework for the team.

During their time at Autodesk, Alexander worked as a Principal Software Engineer on the ShotGrid project, a production management software used by leading VFX and gaming studios. Alexander contributed to the acceleration of workflows for major projects like Wonder Woman, Guardians of the Galaxy, Game of Thrones, and Fortnite.

At Appsberry, Alexander acted as both a Software Architect and Team Leader, building a cloud hosting platform. Alexander worked with technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Python, PostgreSQL, React, Kafka, Clickhouse, and OpenStack.

In their role at Railsware, Alexander was a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead. Alexander worked on projects like Brightbytes (US) - Clarity, a data management solution for schools, and Traintool.nl/Faculty.nl, a soft skill training service.

At Svitla Systems, Alexander served as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Leader. Alexander'swork involved projects like SmartBiz and BillFloat, where they led teams of software engineers and worked with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and Twitter Bootstrap.

At Sphere Software, Alexander held the position of Senior Ruby on Rails developer and Team Lead. Alexander worked on projects such as StyleUP.ua, a salon booking startup, and SitterCity.com, a platform connecting families and sitters.

Earlier in their career, Alexander worked as a Ruby on Rails developer for Intensol Limited, where they focused on developing a social network aggregator. Alexander was also responsible for scaling and performance optimization.

Prior to that, they founded and owned OpenSource.com.ua, where they served as CEO, CTO, and Lead Engineer. Alexander developed a standalone online store based on OsCommerce using PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.

Alexander Manzyuk obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Sevastopol State Technical University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002.
