Heather Malec

Heather Malec is a seasoned marketing communications professional with extensive experience in driving strategic initiatives within the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Marketing Communications at Kaseya since January 2019, Heather excels in aligning tactical plans with overarching strategies, managing marketing communications measurement, and nurturing relationships with key tech analysts and influencers. Prior to this role, positions included Director of Corporate Communications at Kaseya, Director of Digital Strategy and PR at Spanning Cloud Apps, and Global Director of Content Marketing and Social Media at ThoughtWorks. Heather's earlier career also spans various consulting roles and leadership positions in marketing communications at notable organizations, including the Newberry Library and Grant Thornton. An alumnus of Northwestern University and Indiana University Bloomington, Heather holds a Master's in Journalism and a Bachelor's in Public Affairs, respectively.
