Joseph Levitas

Joseph Levitas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joseph is currently the Head of Data Science at kasko2go. Before that, they worked as a Freelancer, specializing in algorithm development and consulting. Joseph also served as an Instructor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, teaching Fuzzy Control for Autonomous Driving. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Algorithm Developer at Paieon Medical and Nanometrics. Joseph also worked at Intel as a Sr. Algorithm Developer, focusing on video color and contrast enhancement algorithms and computer vision for automatic defect classification. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer and Consultant at Omikron Delta and Orbotech, and as an Algorithm Developer at Rafael. Joseph started their career as a Lecturer at Ort Braude College of Engineering.

Joseph Levitas has a strong education background in aerospace, aeronautical, and astronautical engineering. Joseph obtained a B.Sc. degree in this field from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 1982. Joseph further pursued their studies at the same institute and earned an M.Sc. degree in aerospace, aeronautical, and astronautical engineering in 1988. Joseph's education journey continued, and they successfully completed their D.Sc. (Doctor of Science) degree in the same field in 1992, again at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
