Oleksii Sheremet

Oleksii Sheremet is a seasoned professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior AI/ML Engineer and Data Scientist at K2G since October 2025. In addition, Oleksii holds the position of Head of Department and Professor at Donbas State Engineering Academy, where a long-standing academic career began in September 2008. Previous roles include ML Tech Lead at Onix-Systems from February 2021 to October 2025 and Data Scientist at AI Labs from September 2015 to October 2020. Oleksii's background in consulting and software engineering, from 2007 to 2015, complements an extensive educational foundation, which includes a Doctor of Technical Science from the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" and a PhD from Donetsk National Technical University in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, a Master of Engineering degree in Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies was earned at Donbas State Engineering Academy.
