Jesse Korpela

Jesse Korpela has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Vice President of Sales at AIESEC from September 2009 to April 2010. During this time, they were responsible for contacting local businesses and creating internship opportunities for international students. Jesse also attended international conferences and collaborated with AIESEC members globally.

In May 2010, Jesse worked as a Giant Leap Trainee at Vaisala Oyj for a few months.

From January 2011 to April 2014, they worked as a Project Engineer at SWD Ltd.

In May 2014, they joined Solita as a Software Designer, contributing to the team until October 2015.

Following Solita, Jesse joined Reaktor Japan in November 2015 as a Software Architect. Jesse served in this role until November 2020.

Lastly, in December 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Kasvu Labs, where they are currently employed.

Jesse Korpela has a strong educational background in the field of technology and logistics. Jesse completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Logistics and Software Engineering from Tampere University of Technology from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Information and Knowledge Management, with a specialization in Software Systems, from the same university between 2005 and 2010.

In addition to their studies at Tampere University of Technology, Jesse spent some time at other institutions. In 2009, they attended Ajou University where they focused on Data Mining and Operations Management. The following year, they became a special research student at Tohoku University, where they specialized in Software Construction.

Jesse Korpela also holds a certification in the JLPT Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2. The institution responsible for the certification is the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan.
